MARATHON OPP LOOKING FOR SUSPECT (Click for details/update) The Marathon Detachment of the O.P.P. are currently looking for a suspect involved in a domestic dispute. The male suspect may be armed. All available resources are being deployed in the search for the suspect. Residents who live on Jackson Crescent and Hemlo Drive, in the town of Marathon, are advised to remain in their homes with their doors locked.....:.... The male suspect is described as: a male in his mid 30's, tall, thin build, dark hair, wearing dark coloured clothing. MANITOUWADGE, ON – The Manitouwadge Cancer Assistance Group is always looking for fun and creative ways to encourage community spirit and raise funds for those in our community living with cancer.  For the 2012 Share the Care Bike Ride they’ve outdone themselves, realizing that a 54km bike ride is not for everyone they’ve changed things up, the MCAG invites you to join them on a

“TOUR de MANITOUWADGE”

Saturday, August 11th at 10am join the MCAG at the Recreation Centre Parking lot where you will receive your course map. The course has been carefully chosen to be suitable for bikers of all ages and abilities and is estimated to be approximately 1 hour in length.  Afterwards there will be fruit and refreshments to enjoy back at the Recreation Centre.

As with all MCAG events, you do not have to be pledged, EVERYONE IS WELCOME to participate, just make a donation when picking up your course map.  The MCAG hopes to see many new faces (and of course all their past supporters) out for this fun event.
